'That's a lie!' Black farmer corrects Trump while exposing president's 'all-white' meeting

Source: Raw Story

February 22, 2026 9:53AM ET

A Black farming leader erupted Sunday to correct a Trump "lie," all while exposing a purported "all-white" meeting held by the president. John Boyd Jr., president of the National Black Farmers Association, appeared on MS NOW over the weekend to talk about the Supreme Court's decision striking down Trump's tariff powers.

Trump has raged at the high court's justices since the decision was handed down. But Boyd, who previously said Trump had "sold out" farmers, was focused on the president "lying" about $12 billion being paid out to farmers.

"He went down to Iowa and said that there was $12 billion that was paid out. People. That is a lie!" he exclaimed. "The money has not been paid out, not $0.01 of it. And I just recently got an email, I think, Friday that said that sign up period has now moved to April. The president said we're going to get the money in November. Then he said it's going to get the money in December and then January and then February. And now I just got an email saying that the sign up period is now April. The president just keeps making false statements and he's not being held accountable. This president has a problem with Black leaders that speak up or anyone that opposes anything that he says."

Boyd went on to expose what he said was an "all-white farm meeting with an all-white audience." "And when he announced that $12 billion... he had a roundtable for farmers and excluded me from the meeting.

3 out of 4 of our dipshit farmers voted for him. And they'd do it again.

Ironically, a hundred years ago, a lot of them would have been Democrats. Or union members. Or...SOCIALISTS. You can still see the remnants of that with farmers cooperatives. Alas, they have since been successfully brainwashed by their Church, AM radio, etc against so-called "elitist coastal liberals." They will vote ABAD. Anyone But A Democrat. Even for a convicted pedophile who has been married three times and has never been to church.

in most counties in 2024 and they'd vote for him another 100 times if they could. They'll vote for all the republican congress people in 35 weeks too. Brainwashed and lovin' those taxpayer funded subsidiary checks while screaming about socialism and welfare queens.

all the while yelling "hands off my Social Security!" I'm right there with them with the Hands Off message... but at least I recognize it's a social insurance program. They have no idea WHAT it is, what it started out being, how it's changed through the years, or what the republicans are trying to do to it right now. I've lost faith in people, as a whole.

used to be Democratic. The state used to be so good... even our roads, that you could tell without signage when you passed over the state line to Missouri (no offense, MO). But that was a long time ago, back when I was in my teens. Then we became as bad as Texas... anybody BUT a Democrat. We've done one good thing; we elected a Democratic governor (a woman, at that!) after the wreckage of the Brownback administration. But we've got a long ways to go before we ever catch up to where we once stood as a state in good standing.
