CBS News Pulls Peter Attia '60 Minutes' Segment After Epstein Revelations
Source: Deadline
CBS News has pulled a 60 Minutes segment by physician and longevity researcher Peter Attia after revelations that his name appears in more than 1,700 documents in the latest release of the Epstein files.
The segment, which first aired in October, was to be included in a rerun airing Sunday against the Super Bowl. The Attia segment will be replaced with another piece.
Attia was named as a CBS News contributor, along with 18 others, just last week as part of Bari Weiss new strategy for the news division.
The documents in which Attia was named included direct correspondence in the mid-2010s between himself and disgraced financier Epstein, who, by that time, had already pleaded guilty to prostitution charges. Epstein was later charged with trafficking underage girls for sex.

(17,167 posts)He kind of fits the QAnon fantasies about med beds and extending life expectancy. [I follow a former high school classmate on Facebook for shits and giggles. She is a psychologist and full blown QAnon freak.] Constant discussion of adenochrome, etc. and extending the usual life span.
There's nothing legitimate to connect Attia to QAnon that I know of. But he always just appeared "weird" in interviews that I came across. When Trump got that mysterious MRI, I thought about Attia and his quest to extend lifespan. Attia advises his patients to get an MRI yearly. This was discussed in an interview he did for 60 Minutes with Nora O'Donnell.
Again - just random thoughts.
