Police suspect mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie was abducted from Arizona home

A search continued Tuesday in Arizona for the missing mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie, with police saying they believe the 84-year-old woman was abducted in a weekend intrusion at her home near Tucson.

According to the Los Angeles Times, citing two law enforcement sources, there were signs of forced entry and blood found at the residence in the Catalina Foothills area where Nancy Guthrie was last seen at about 9.30pm Saturday.

Chris Nanos, the Pima county sheriff, said in a press conference on Monday it was imperative she was found soon because she has limited physical mobility and requires regular life-saving medication.

Overnight, authorities said it appeared she was likely kidnapped, perhaps when she was sleeping. “At this point, investigators believe she was taken from the home against her will, possibly [the] middle of the night,” sheriff’s office spokesperson, Kevin Adger, said.

I’ve read that Savannah was about to interview some Epstein survivors, but the internet is rerunning the interview she did with Trump years ago. All confusing, but you’re absolutely correct in that something isn’t right here. Is this another “message” to journalists? Or an unrelated robbery/abduction, etc.? We don’t know.

I hope the woman is safe and that answers are known soon.

8. Nancy Guthrie was born in 1942 in Fort Wright, Kentucky.

There doesn't seem to be any reason why ICE would abduct her. Samantha Guthrie is pretty much a middle of the road news commentator, so I don't think this was because of her politics.
It's all pretty weird.

Savannah's money, not her mothers. I can't think of any other reason to kidnap an elderly person. They say she can't walk farther than 50 ft due to her age... so she didn't wander off.
