A police report on the allegation of sexual assault against Pete Hegseth, the Fox News star nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to serve as secretary of defense, was obtained by Mediaite on Wednesday and contains graphic details of the 2017 encounter.

The report, provided by the City of Monterey, California, was previously released to Hegseth in March 2021, per his request. It runs 24 pages and details the allegation leveled by a woman who claimed in 2017 that she was sexually assaulted by the cable news star at a Republican women’s conference.

There was a rape kit. There were witnesses to some of his behavior. And there was a suspicion of being roofied.
