Trump picks Mike Huckabee as US ambassador to Israel

President-elect Trump announced Tuesday he will nominate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) to serve as ambassador to Israel, a major diplomatic role that will take on added importance amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
“Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years,” Trump said in a statement. “He loves Israel, and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him. Mike will work tirelessly to bring about Peace in the Middle East!”
For over a year, Israel has carried out war against Hamas following the terrorist group’s attacks in October 2023 that killed more than 1,000 Israeli citizens. Trump has urged Israel to “finish the problem,” even as he has been critical of how it has carried out its military campaign. Tensions have also been on the rise between Israel and Hezbollah, the militant group with a major presence in Lebanon.
Huckabee served as governor of Arkansas from 1996-2007, winning two full terms after taking over for then-Gov. Jim Guy Tucker (R), who resigned. He ran unsuccessful presidential campaigns in 2008 and 2016.

"met with trump and he's going to make me Ambassador to Lebanon". I keep trying to get my Mom to show me the photo. I'm sure it's a cardboard cutout. I have seen 2 people pose with a cardboard likeness and claim they met him. 
that he views them as requisite inconveniences on the way to the Rapture. And that he's a fake Xtian kook.

Wouldn't you think Huck's beliefs might make diplomatic interactions a tad bit awkward? Were I an Israeli diplomat, in the back of my mind would be "he seems nice, but I know he sees me as hell-bound because...yadda yadda yadda."
This is literally Tel Miggido... or better known in Greek as Armageddon.
Mike doesn't love Jews... he hates them... his whole deal is to bring about the "final days" where Jews either convert to Christianity or perish at this place. If they convert, he will love them. The battle here at this place will bring about the return of Jesus Christ.
At least so wrote John of Patmos ( a small Greek island where he lived as a hermit ). He is NOT an apostle of Jesus, never met Jesus, and lived at least 100 years after Jesus. He wrote the book of revelations as a likely scam to get people to bring him food to eat in a cave he lived in on Patmos ( as a holy person ). The "book" of revelations was included in the scripture because a Pope decided that he liked the God of Retribution as a way to scare the ignorant populations of the beginning of the Dark Age to continue to belong to the church... and, more importantly, donate land and money to the church.
This is why Mike Huckabee wants to go to Israel. To convert the Jews.
Plus, I hate to tell the Christians this... but Jesus was not born anywhere near to December 25. By the actual descriptions in the Bible, it is more likely that he was born in the spring time. The early Christians moved the date of his birth to coincide with 2 things... a winter Roman god holiday called Saturnalia where almost all traditions about a evergreen tree and lights inside and presents and even kissing on the mistletoe... a green winter plant, were created. And this was the in celebration of the the Winter solstice ( Dec 22 or 3 days before ) because the people could visually SEE that the sun was returning ( more daylight ) meaning that spring ( and the growing season ) would soon arrive. The Christian church co-opted this holiday to make the pagans happy to not lose their favorite holiday when they converted.
Now you should hear about the actual origins of Santa Claus.
