'We will put your fat a-- in prison': Potential Trump AG candidate threatens to prosecute Letitia James for conspiracy

Source: Law & Crime

Nov 7th, 2024, 7:17 pm

A conservative attorney rumored as a potential top cabinet appointee for president-elect Donald Trump issued a stark warning to New York Attorney General Letitia James on Thursday.

“Let me just say this to ‘Big Tish’ James, the New York attorney general: I dare you. I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump in his second term because listen here, sweetheart, we’re not messing around this time,” Mike Davis, the former chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said.

The threat was then crystallized with a body-shaming insult about the Empire State’s top law enforcement official.

“We will put your fat a–– in prison for conspiracy against rights,” Davis said during an appearance on “The Benny Show,” the eponymous YouTube program hosted by conservative columnist Benny Johnson.

What's coming not only from Trump (who is reliably disgusting) but also J.D. Vance is only getting more dehumanizing and vulgar. What a foul, stinking state of affairs in the American right.

We now live in a country that has no rule of law and the institutions of democracy will soon be nothing more than rotted facades and empty interiors, if there is any structure left at all. We will each be on our own, as the morbidly rich, who are about to become even more so, take possession of the politicians and government they paid for with our money that they stole with the tax cuts.

This isn't going to be like it was last time where Trump feels obligated to placate a bunch of Bush-era congressional Republicans who were still butthurt that he beat Jeb in the primaries.

It's his party now. Congress will confirm whoever he tells them to confirm.

Buckle up.

Let's throw this in the face of every person we know who voted for Trump, word fr word. And then ask if they would permit their son to repeat that language.

I'm too old to care if I lose any friends or acquaintances. They are dead to me.

“…the eponymous YouTube program hosted by conservative columnist Benny Johnson”?

Let me fix that for you, Comrade:

“… the eponymous YouTube program hosted by conservative columnist Benny Johnson” who took hundreds of thousand of dollars from the Russians in an relentless assault on American Democracy.”

I think that is much better. And far more accurate.

This is the kind of talk Trump indulges in himself. Mike Davis is having his on go at it.

If James is thinking of letting the case go, she should have a rethink. Making these scumbags sweat could be great for her career as well as being the right thing to do.

Does she want to be governor?

Why would she let a STATE-prosecuted and adjudicated case based on STATE LAW, "go"?

The federal government has nothing to do with it. It's a little something that the GOP loves to embrace called "states rights".
