Quincy Jones, music titan who worked with everyone from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, dies at 91

Quincy Jones, the multi-talented music titan whose vast legacy ranged from producing Michael Jackson’s historic “Thriller” album to writing prize-winning film and television scores and collaborating with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and hundreds of other recording artists, has died at 91.

Jones’ publicist, Arnold Robinson, says he died Sunday night at his home in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles, surrounded by his family.

for getting ready for school, going to bed, etc. Lots of Beatles, Harrison, Lennon, Hendrix, Arctic Monkeys, Doors, Mazzie Star, the Cure, the Smiths. We love watching Rashida on The Office and Park & Recreation.

He just KNEW how to make stuff. He was a historical talent. If there was a mount Rushmore for success in his bundle of talent(s), he would be on it.

was with 16 year old Leslie Gore. Starting with "It's My Party" and including the iconic, "You Don't Own Me", their partnership was anazing.

This song (Love, I Never Had It So Good) threw the spotlight on Quincy Jones for me. I still have it on my playlist. Thank you, Mr. Jones, & rest in heavenly peace.
