As the race reaches one week until Election Day, Kamala Harris is set to deliver her "closing argument" Tuesday night on The Ellipse -- in the same spot where Donald Trump rallied his supporters on Jan. 6, 2021, to march on the U.S. Capitol nearby.
Trump will try to preempt Harris's remarks when he speaks to reporters Tuesday morning at Mar-a-Lago after declaring he's "the opposite of a Nazi" on Monday night in Georgia. He holds a rally later in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with a large population of Puerto Rican Americans.

Short article. This part is down the page. Scroll down a little.
Give me a fucking break, asshole. Back to Roy Cohn:
1: attack, attack, attack
2: Never admit defeat
3: Never admit fault
This is his rum, romanism, and rebellion moment.

(45,695 posts)His planning, programming, speaker and speech approvals, teleprompter uploads...
and most of all, it was his messaging strategy and talking points.
So shut the fuck up Trump, stop whining and get ready for your massive loss.
Prison awaits.

(24,917 posts)He heard it--he's just LYING again to protect his lard-ass. The American people aren't buying it. And even if he didn't really hear it, he has all but said the exact same things. This is him. It's who he is; it just remains to convince the voters of that fact.

(374 posts)I can easily believe Trump was not even in the building. I can't see him sitting though 4-5 hours of people he doesn't really care about saying shit he has all heard before. I figure he limos in 5 minutes before (or 40 minutes after) he is set to speak, then leaves as soon as the applause dies down.
But that doesn't matter. As others have said, it was his rally. His responsibility.

it does force the hand of the campaign to spend energy and resources (for a second full day
) to deflect on a disastrous single issue rather than any other topic(s); few as they may be
Meanwhile VP Harris will hold a major event this evening and hit all battleground states in the closing days.

(3,725 posts)Vance said the same thing.
I've seen others say they didn't arrive in time to hear those comments.
They have the "hear no evil" down pat. Too bad they can't get on board with the "speak no evil".

(3,654 posts)Sorry Supposedly Wealthy Brat, you hosted the party and booked the comedian and therefore You are responsible. If you can't run a coherent rally how can you expect to run our nation?

(27,894 posts)Its not like this guy was an unknown. The campaign knew who he was and hired him because of who he was.

(6,270 posts)A hate fest is just that, it isn't a political rally.
The two are not the same thing.
But Trump is just a confused senior citizen, a danger to himself and all who surround him.
In a different world, he would have been a resident in an ITC (institute for the terminally confused) about 10 years ago.
