The co-author of Donald Trumps famous book Art of the Deal called the former president a very animalistic human and feral in a recent interview.
Journalist and author Tony Schwartz joined MSNBC anchor Ari Melber for an interview on Friday where the pair discussed recent reports that the GOP nominee has become exhausted on the campaign trail.
Kamala Harris has called out Trump for his older age and reports of exhaustion while refusing to debate her and cancelling interviews.
Schwartz noted during the interview that Harris recent attacks on Trump may help take away votes from the former president in the last few weeks of the election.

Drug withdrawal. DT == Delerium Trumpens.
Though, one has to wonder if all the drugs he may be taking have destroyed him.
For years, a rumor has circulated that Adolf Hitler had a digestive condition that made him pass gas often. The claim has appeared on Reddit for at least 13 years, and a post in early 2024 included details about the medical treatment he followed:
TIL Theodor Morell, Adolf Hitlers quack personal physician, prescribed him cocaine eye drops, heavy doses of oxycodone, and amphetamines, sometimes up to 20 times a day. To combat Hitlers excessive flatulence, he prescribed Doktor Kosters Antigas Pills, a mixture of atropine and strychnine

I wish he would have upped the strychnine by about 1000% in, oh, I don't know, 1934 or so.

(35,668 posts)... he is THE author. He wrote every word of that book, and Chump paid him a certain agreed amount, and published the book under his own name.
The contract was a 30-year NDA that expired just a few weeks before the 2016 election. As soon as the NDA expired Tony Schwartz wrote an article in Esquire sharing the entire story. Even then Mr. Schwartz laid out reasons why Chump should never be elected President.
It's chilling to think that that book started the ball rolling ... and now, here we are.

With Donald Trump set to secure the Republican nomination for president this week, the ghostwriter behind Trumps book The Art of the Deal, revealed the real estate moguls true character that the book ignored.
I put lipstick on a pig, writer Tony Schwartz told the New Yorker. I feel a deep sense of remorse that I contributed to presenting Trump in a way that brought him wider attention and made him more appealing than he is.
Schwartz actually suggested that Trump write The Art of the Deal instead of the autobiography Trump had set out to pen. The real estate mogul then asked Schwartz to help him write the book, and Schwartz agreed when Trump offered him half of the advance and of the royalties.
It was one of a number of times in my life when I was divided between the Devil and the higher side, Schwartz told the New Yorker.
