Barack Obama reflected on late Sen. John McCain, his opponent in the 2008 election, and a now-viral moment from the Republicans campaign that showed how his character compares to Donald Trump on Friday. The former president, in a speech at a Kamala Harris campaign rally, cautioned that he didnt want to over-romanticize his relationship with McCain and noted that the 2008 GOP presidential nominee was a conservative to put it mildly.
But you know what, he understood that some values transcend party, said Obama while campaigning for the current Democratic nominee in Tucson, Arizona. He believed an honest argument and hearing the views of other people. He didnt demonize political opponents.
He then referred to McCains response to a woman at a 2008 town hall-style event in Lakeville, Minnesota after she declared that she couldnt trust Obama and pushed a baseless claim that he was an Arab. McCain shook his head no in response to the woman, whose claim is tied to a racist birther conspiracy theory about Obama.
No maam, no maam. Hes a decent family man, citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and thats what this campaign is all about, he said in a viral clip thats also received backlash from those who say he didnt do enough to combat against the womans anti-Arab racism.

However, not Heir Orange. Dumpy then tried to excuse his absence as not wanting to disrupt things by showing up, so he didn't.
Uh no, dipshit. They didn't want you there.
BTW, who is that standing next to widow Cindy McCain? Mike Pence and umm.... Paul Ryan.
You know, your VP that you tried to hang, and the "loser" in 2012.
