Former President Donald Trump on Friday was in the middle of telling an arena full of diehard supporters what his favorite word in the dictionary is, when his mic abruptly cut off.
Trump then spent nearly 20 minutes shuffling around the stage at his rally in Detroit, Michigan, as his fans alternated between chanting his name, doing the wave and cheering for the Republican presidential nominee. "Fight, fight, fight," they chanted at one point.
While Trump paced around the stage, a sign onscreen read, "Technical Difficulties. Complicated Business." Watch the moment his mic cut off in the video below, at around the 12-minute mark:
After about 20 minutes, Trump went back to the mic to test it out. "Hello?" he said. The mic was working again, and the crowd burst into uproarious applause. "Well, thank you, everybody," Trump said. "Thank you. So, now what happens is I won't pay the bill for this stupid company that rented us this crap."

(22,983 posts)He took up boxing as a child in Detroit because he was always being bullied. He became a legend.
Hurts to see him hooked up with this phony conman.

Look at all the aging NFL football player's brain problems.......Boxing has to be far worse for the brain matter......

Boxing, MMA, (American) football
nothing more than the modern version of gladiatorial fights in ancient Rome.
And Ice Hockey, is not far behind.........at all levels, even kids............And in the NHL, the governing body does NOTHING to help the situation.........They should have an "intent to injure" penalty ENFORCED that has say a ten game suspension at the minimum attached to it......
Wilson went ballistic, and beat the living crap out of a bunch of the other team's players for over five? minutes, taking out the other team's top player for the rest of the year, and the LEAGUE gave him NO suspension and a 4,000 dollar fine. AND, he was one of the serious bad boys, with a history of suspensions!!!!!!!!! LOL, a 4,000 fine to a guy who makes millions a year, isn't even pocket change....

(9,963 posts)Think that is what the fans want, so go at it...................
There are NHL players that don't care if they take an opposing player out for a game, a number of games, the rest of the year, or for life.........My opinion is that the player penalized should have to sit out as long as the injured player and with no pay........
What is REALLY strange is that the owners aren't upset when one of their zillion dollar players is constantly targeted by opposing players targeting him continuously through out the game................
And the reffing should be watched carefully.........They are in a prime position to throw a game with calls/nocalls. All this online betting creates a heck of an incentive for someone to give them money to throw a game.........
If this continues throughout sports, NHL, NFL, et et et........it will all go the way of prizefighting which was always rigged, and everyone quit watching it................

(18,069 posts)Especially the potential to actual nasty to deadly injuries. Wow.
You'd think the owners, or those of them who act like they don't care about what happens to their players would do their best to stop actions like this.
While I've never had a scintilla of a thought about owning a sportsteam...
I'd hope I'd be a really good one: help keeping my players in tip top shape in the various ways an owner should do so they can be the best team possible.

I suppose he would show up at a Klan rally too if they "paid" him, because that is basically what he just did here.
