Kamala Harris Calls Out Fox News Host For Diminishing Trump's 'Enemy Within' Comments

Vice President Kamala Harris’ interview Wednesday on Fox News was tense from the jump. In one of the more hostile moments, the Democratic presidential nominee told host Bret Baier he was diminishing one of Donald Trump’s most inflammatory remarks.

The exchange began after Harris called out the former president’s recent comments labeling “radical left lunatics” as “the enemy from within” and asserting they should be “handled” with military force.

“He’s the one who talks about an enemy within… suggesting he would turn the American military on the American people,” Harris said of her Republican rival for the presidency.

Baier responded that Fox News asked Trump about those remarks earlier Wednesday, then played a clip of Trump defending his words. In the clip, Trump says his opponents have exaggerated his comments and that he’s the one who’s been cast as an enemy. Harris wasn’t having it.

As "radical left lunatics" and "the Enemy within". They are both members of co-equal branches of government meaning he lacks legal authority to pull off such a stunt. But that shows how the rule of law means absolutely nothing to Trump.

It wasn't a symptom of the sudden acceleration of his own cognitive decline (which I'd grown suspicious of). He knew that it would come out that Fox had edited remarks of his, so he turned it into a pre-emptive strike with benefits.

Now that he has nothing to look forward to but his criminal and civil cases, Trump has begun stockpiling ammunition for an "incompetent to stand trial" or "not guilty by reason of insanity" ruling.

12. Strong Performance By Kamala Harris

She is a great candidate. The only thing that might stop her is the fact that there are a lot of frankly stupid people in this country, and they tend to vote for Trump. Any intelligent person who saw this interview would clearly want to vote for Kamala Harris. She is a smart and strong candidate. I hope and pray that she wins. If she does, I think that she is going to make an excellent President.
