SANTAN, AZ — A Gila River police officer is dead and another is hurt, along with four other individuals after a shooting broke out early Saturday morning in the Gila River Indian Community.

Gila River police say around 2 a.m., they were called to a home in the Santan area for a reported disturbance.

As officers worked to address the issue, which involved a large crowd, someone fired multiple gunshots.

A total of two Gila River officers were injured along with four other people at the scene.

7. No. The slain officer was identified, no one else.

As of right now, there have been no arrests and no suspects identified. The identity of the other person killed wasn't revealed either.
Apparently there was a party or dance going on when police were called.
The Reservation has placed a moratorium on that type of activity for now.

8. I think we should take notice of any of these types of shootings...

no matter how large or small the Mass Shooting. Find out as many details as possible and keep track. Was the shooter an outside agitator? Was he part of the community disturbance from the beginning?

We need to be careful, IMNSHO, to not blow anything off now that T* has been convicted. Answers may be ascertained by connecting dots (if there are any to be connected).
