Incredibly strict. I can't get a carry permit here in NYC, and I'm a model citizen with no arrest record.

Sounds like this person didn't get the memo. It's funny she claims that Democrats are communists. She probably doesn't even support Ukraine.

As a side note, that surname is very unusual. Typically in Eastern Slavic names, the ending of the family name/surname is different between men and women. For women, usually it would end in something like -ova, -eva/-yeva, -ivna, depending on language. So in this case, typically it would be named Vernikova. Maybe this is the exception, although certain surnames don't change forms between masculine and feminine form, particularly in Ukrainian.

10. I guess, but most Ukrainian names have specific endings

Usually it will end in something like -enko, -chuk, -yuk, or something like that, especially the first one. However, in other forms, e.g. Ivanovych, the ending would be different between men and women, For example Zelenska is the feminine form of Zelenskyi. Now it could be possible that her father was Russian, as typically Russian names end in -ov. Of course, during Soviet times in Ukraine, they used Russian surnames for a lot of people.
