Trump administration officials overseeing the sheltering of migrant children have refused to meet with Congress about recent allegations that adult employees preyed on children in their custody.

Nine days have passed since the public first learned of thousands of cases of alleged sexual misconduct in facilities supervised by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, which is housed under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

But senior officials have refused to meet with Congressional Democrats to address the issue. They are demanding an apology for a semantic misstep during a high-profile hearing last week, when Rep. Ted Deutch of Florida referred to shelter workers contracted under HHS as “staff.”

Children reported sexual abuse by their caretakers after arriving at the southern border 98 times over the past two years, according to HHS data.

These administration people need to be made to understand that they do NOT have the authority to refuse to appear before Congress. I am so sick of this administration forgetting that they are ONE-THIRD of our government, NOT IN CHARGE.

Subpoena these bastards. NOW. If they refuse to appear, hold them in Contempt of Congress, send U S Marshals to their homes or offices and march their asses to jail. THIS is an OUTRAGE.

This entire disaster is on the administration and every single person who supports them. Ripping children from their parents, putting them in cages, serving them inadequate nutrition for their needs, refusing them appropriate medical, allowing situations to occur where they are sexually-assaulted is a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.

WHY is the UN not involved ? WHY is the MSM not screaming about this every GD day ? This is the behavior of savage and barbaric psychopaths.

If any other country had done this to US families, the WH would have demanded that the military nuke them back to the pre-Cambrian era before dawn.
