Source: KPCC-FM
A judge has found that Southern California Edison executives engaged in improper talks with California utility regulators related to the now-closed San Onofre nuclear power plant.
A statement Wednesday from the California Public Utilities Commission said the company could face potential penalties in excess of $34 million.
The ruling by commission Administrative Law Judge Melanie Darling orders Edison to show why it should not be penalized for 10 improper communications with the agency.
At issue has been private discussions around the possible division of costs from the now-defunct plant.
