As governor, Jeb Bush used e-mail to discuss security, troop movements

Source: Washington Post

Jeb Bush used his private e-mail account as Florida governor to discuss security and military issues such as troop deployments to the Middle East and the protection of nuclear plants, according to a review of publicly released records.

The e-mails include two series of exchanges involving details of Florida National Guard troop deployments in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, the review by The Washington Post found.

Aides to Bush said Saturday that none of the e-mails contained sensitive or classified information, and that many of the events mentioned in them were documented in press accounts, either contemporaneously or later. But security experts say private e-mail systems such as the one used by Bush are more vulnerable to hackers, and that details such as troop movements could be exploited by enemies.

An unknown number of the e-mails housed on Bush’s server were redacted or withheld from public release because they contained sensitive security issues, Bush representatives have said. Communications director Tim Miller said general policy was for Bush to discuss sensitive National Guard issues in person with only occasional briefings by e-mail that “wouldn’t contain information that should not be in the public domain.”

for the Rethuglicans to reject Jebbie as their nominee, even though most of them have enough already. They learned three years ago that you can't fight Obamacare with the author of Romneycare, so why fight "Hillary's Secret Communications" with "Jebbie's Done the Same Thing"?

to be overtaken by Scott Walker in the coming months. Yes, Scotty had a rough trip to the UK, but I assure you, his handlers took note of that, and he won't be making the same mistakes with US media that he did with the press over there. He's acceptable to all the main factions of the Rethug party, the fundies, the tea partiers, and even the banksters. Surely the memory of having gone with Dole, McCain and Romney have shown the latter group that maybe it's not always best to go with whoever's 'turn' it is.

Somebody has to be top clown out of that highly-populated car, it really doesn't matter who it is, we will despise that individual, and Hillary will beat whoever it is. My bet is that Jebbie will lose because he only has part of the Republicon base, and that's the bankster part. The fundies despise him because he's Catholic, and the tea partiers cannot stand his positions on Common Core and immigration.

but Walker will do anything to wine--Wisconsin was and is a doormat for him. He is disciplined and is used to getting his way. He thinks of no one except himself. He has no soul.

an enigma wrapped in a flag with Fox News blaring 24/7.

A Democrat's faux pas, when it is done to the same or even deeper level by a Republican, is 1000x worse. The Republican in the same boat has either simply made a mistake, or the charges are all "politically motivated", or it is just the liberal media making stuff up, or its Obama's fault, or at the last resort....they are really really really sorry for their "misjudgement" and will never do it again....unlike those nasty Democrats that are just born that way and can't help themselves.

But I'd be willing to bet that a lot of them really want someone else to go up against Hillary. I look for other GOP'ers to take Jebbie on with this issue, and I look for Fox to cover them.

Walker's email scandal still under-the-radar

http://thepoliticalenvironment.blogspot.com/2015/03/walkers-email-scandal-still-under-radar.html

Walker has been tied directly to private email use for public business, but today's email news in the pre-presidential run-up is that Jeb Bush has a Hillary Clinton email problem.

Walker's private email system was set up a few feet from his Milwaukee County Executive desk by operatives he hired and whose political work on public time led to six criminal convictions.

Records published from those email files are replete racist and cruel examples.

Others are self-serving and unworthy of a political candidate for dog catcher - - especially a dog catcher with a documented history of hiring racists.................
