Say hello to our new MIR Team!

This discussion thread was locked by Skinner (a host of the Announcements group).

The job of the Malicious Intruder Removal Team is to ban people who join DU with the intent to disrupt. MIR Team members are volunteers, and they serve for a three-month term. The members serving on the current team were selected on a first-come-first-served basis. (Note that we do not select anyone whose Transparency page is displayed.)

If you are a member of the MIR Team, you should have access to the access-restricted Malicious Intruder Removal Forum. It should appear as a red folder on your Forums & Groups page, and in the left column of any page (if you view DU in "Standard" mode).

Can't eat squat right now - 7 teeth removed from the lower gum over a week ago.

Tried pureed food, real food - fills up the holes in the lower gums, and PAIN!

I know time will fix all that,

the hidden posts show on their transparency page.

Everyone's DU profile page has a Transparency tab - click it to see if the transparency page is showing.

27. My favorite: On their Profile Page, click on Chance of serving on a Jury

It will tell you how many posts that have been hidden in the last 90 days. If it is 5 or more, then their transparency page will be displayable. But even if its less than 5, like 3 or 4, it tells me a little something.
