The tip jar fund drive is almost over...

Today is the last day of this year's tip jar fund drive, and we will likely be back to normal sometime this evening. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed this week! Because of your generosity, DU's budget is currently stable and we can move forward without any financial concerns, which is a great place to be in as we head towards what will no doubt be an interesting (if that is the right word) summer.

I'm glad the new payment options worked out for everyone -- I did not hear of any major issues with Stripe this week, so I think we can call this experiment a success, and we will be implementing it into our regular Star Membership page soon. We will also be including an option for people to purchase a monthly subscription with Stripe as an alternative to PayPal going forward.

The next fund drive will be the Summer Fund Drive in August, and then there won't be another one until Hearts in February. I think between now and then, we're going to see a lot of political change in the country, and I'm optimistic that it will be for the better.
