for a while. I'm glad to see the temps back in the normal range.

2. It finally got winter here - about 2 months late.

Been snowing since September, but that's not an indication, I've seen snow here in July.

-48 was an indication! Back up to about 20 below now, fairly warm but more "normal".

Actually, it will give me a chance to wear my fabulous parka that's too warm to wear in Anchorage.

Like I said, my parka is awesome. we had a Native seamstress here in Anch make it and she really knew what she was doing. It has a big red fox ruff and otter on the cuffs and is long, down to my knees, and lined to -40. I can pretty much disappear down inside it.
