A witness to the Saturday night brawl in Anchorage, Alaska that reportedly involved the family of former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was fired on Friday for talking to ABCs Good Morning America about what he saw.
Eric Thompson worked for McKenna Bros. Paving Company, the organization that held the party on Saturday, which was a birthday party for twins Matt and Marc McKenna, owners of the paving company.

Thompson said the party was held at the house of McKenna Bros. office manager Korey Klingenmeyer. Most of the party, he said, took place outside. A live band played, and Marc, an Iron Dog Snowmobile Race competitor, welcomed several past winners to the party, one of whom is Todd Palin.
Drinks were consumed, then a series of confrontations erupted involving Bristol and Track Palin and an ex-boyfriend of Bristols. Klingenmeyer attempted to stop Bristol, but the former abstinence spokesperson and teen mom stood straight up, brought her arm back and cold-cocked him right in the face, Thompson reported.

(45,251 posts)1. When Palin first came to national attention (beside the attention of those
of us who saw her invite Craig Ferguson to Alaska before McCain picked her), there was some story of the Palins getting someone fired. I don't recall the details. I think it was a former inlaw.
Anyway, point is, they are a vengeful bunch.

spiteful, immature, and dysfunctional.
Sadly, there are too many like them, including members of my own family.

(45,251 posts)3. Oh, my prophetic soul.
Within a day of McCain's naming Palin, I predicted the Palins were headed for reality show stardom. Sadly, the board I posted that on is now gone, so I can't provide a link to prove it. But, I did.
I heard her "thanks but no thanks, to the bridge to nowhere" speech, read her wiki and declared it. And so it has come to pass.
