Change.org will now allow anyone to use their platform - profits over priniciples anyone?

According to a leaked memo on Huffington Post, as of Oct. 24th the petition platform Change.org will allow anyone to use their technology to promote causes, including the Republican Party, anti-abortion groups, anti-worker rights groups… anyone!

Demand that they stand by the principles that they have demanded of others in the past.

Maybe that will get their attention.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]I just learned about this today. There's a petition out from SignOn.org that I signed. Maybe we can still get them to back off this idea and tell the RW to go get their own damn activism site.

Help spread this around. Tell Change.org to reinstate this whistleblower and to back off their jolt towards the right wing -- or lose our support and participation. There's a place to leave comments when you sign.
