since I was shaking from horrible chills and couldn't even hold a cup without dropping it. How can a person be freezing and on fire at the same time...it doesn't make sense. My temp was 104.9 and I had 3 layers on and the space heater was 6" away from me for three hours.

Hope you are consulting with your doctor's office on the flu and high temperature. High temperatures are typical in the evening or night. Hopefully the high temperature was a one off and won't occur again. Keep drinking lots of fluids and don't get dehydrated.

It fluctuated from 96-103 all in one day (within 6 hours). I am taking aspirin and drinking so much water I am sloshing. The night is the worst though, you're right. The Cohen news made me feel better, almost as good as my little dog's kisses. She knows something is not quite right. Someone on DU said they had it for 3 weeks! So much for my flu shot.

for sickness are your pets. The Cohen debacle sure has me pumped; huge news of the month! Glad it makes you feel better; me too and I'm not even sick! This flu can be a real hanger-oner and may keep you down for a while. Take care and hope you feel better!
