Alabama sorority kicks out member who posted pic claiming ‘Chi O got NO n*ggas!’

A University of Alabama sorority has removed a member who inaccurately claimed on social media that the organization had no black members.

The woman, whose name was not released, posted on Snapchat claiming “Chi O got NO niggas!!!!!”

~snip~

“What was expressed is absolutely reprehensible and completely inconsistent with Chi Omega’s values and policies,” the sorority said in a statement. “Chi Omega took swift disciplinary action in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures. The woman who took the photo is no longer a member of the chapter.”

The chapter was among the sororities investigated last year by the student newspaper, which reported that the university’s Greek system remained rigidly segregated.

In many larger communities, public schools are black and private schools are white. These insulated white students are tone-deaf when it comes to racism, since it has been a predominant factor of their lives. They grew up in a de facto segregated world, so racial political correctness is not part of their vocabulary. Using words they hear on popular music by rappers and hip hop artists furthers the blindness to what we consider offensive terminology.

It has been so common and entrenched, major universities never noticed the Greek organizations were segregated?

It is not just the kids.
