It should be mandatory that they have them.

In the kind of areas they're talking about, you can pinpoint exactly where the rich folks live by the quality of the roads. Smooth as glass over there, bust-a-rim potholes everywhere else. Even if the feds (And it would have to go that far up, because the state or county sure as hell wouldn't) ponied up the money, it'd go toward making some connected asshat's life easier.

Or the short answer: Republicans are greedy assholes.

But yeah, I agree with you that it oughta be mandatory.

you can see people emerging from it (very briefly) in the video. I'm not sure if the reporter's use of the word "small" implies it wasn't big enough for everybody, but most people made it in.

Thanks Eppur!

The reason I say the shelters should be mandatory is because people pay money to park their RVs in parks. Some of the money they pay should go towards safe rooms or underground bunkers. Being in an RV during a tornado is a death sentence, if the tornado hits your area.

hit again. And now they are tracking tornado signature heading to metropolitan Birmingham.

Al and Stephanie from Weather Channel are in Birmingham.
