A pair of bald eagles is again nesting in a pine tree near the Guntersville Dam & locks. The egg(s) which were laid in December 2011 should be hatching this week or next. The Eagle Awareness weekends begin this week at Lake Guntersville State Park. The outings will be held through the second weekend in February and will feature guided field trips to nesting sites. For more, call 256-571-440 {sic} or 800-548-4553. (The Huntsville Times/Dave Dieter)
