Constitutional Reform Commission seeks to eliminate judicial review of right to public education

http://www.alreporter.com/in-case-you-missed-it-2/5170-constitutional-commission-seeks-to-eliminate-judicial-review-from-public-school-language.html

The so-called "Lembke amendment" asserts the right of all children to public education in Alabama, but eliminates judicial review. In other words, the right remains, but if the state decides to violate it by underfunding or closing certain schools, no one can sue.

I wonder what will happen to those public schools in certain areas that are 100% black because all the white kids go to private school? They are already funded at the bare minimum.

If the constitution eliminates judicial review, what is to stop Alabama from operating a segregated school system? Or no public schools at all?

That they'll be gunning for public schools because all the white kids are in private school and it burns their asses to have to pay for public school systems.

Clarke County is 55% white. Every student, teacher, and administrator at that school is white.

Wilcox Academy is 100% white, Wilcox county is 26.8% white.

The putting segregation back in schools boat already sailed.
