Does anyone here have Spectrum pr AT&T for cable/internet ?

We're *really* wanting to dump WOW!, they've done a crappy job and keep adding extra charges for no reason. I've heard some people prefer AT&T; if so, I'd like to know why. We finally have some money on hand to pay for a switch and/or new equipment, if that's needed, so I think it's time.

Went to Spectrum and loved it. Two hour window for install, fast 200mbps, customer service here in the US.

I now live in the boonies and have local single point wireless which is good and reliable at 14mbps with Nextlink.

It's the only choice in our neighborhood, because the HOA doesn't allow dishes. But, they did negotiate a great price, we pay about $45 a month for cable for up to four TVs, and there is cable Internet in the bargain, too.

The only downside is the cable boxes. They'll go "out" randomly. When we were back and forth between SC and NY, we thought it was because we didn't use the boxes for a couple of weeks at a time. But, now that we're living here full time (and not going anywhere out of town!) clearly it is their crappy equipment that is the problem. If I want to watch a show, I set my alarm for about ten minutes before the show starts, so that I can deal with the "Your TV will be with you in a moment" message and still catch the beginning of the show.

All the best to you and your family on what you decide on.

I don't trust the "surveys" I see online because they seem to be so incomplete ... some say great things about Spectrum, others trash it. I'm curious as to what happens to their rate after 2 yrs -- it says "current rate", whatever that is, after the bundle discount for years 1 and 2.

bundles and teaser pricing. The best question to ask is, for a person not on this promo deal, how much does it cost that customer per month. If you don't get a straight answer, then move on.

New Mexico at this time. We use Comcast which is the best option for now. We need more choice
of providers here and nationally too.
