It's kind of low key, often church-based.

Joe Reed from the ADC said this special election will hinge on the choice white women make - Vote Moore, stay home or vote Jones.

Alabama Democrats have had a fissure in the party along racial lines since 2010 and the governor's primary race between Artur Davis and Ron Sparks. I'd say not at all settled, so it is tough in Alabama right now.

A win might change everything!

Ever heard of a vote for one office in a special election in mid-December?
