Not that it matters but I am curious

Did the shooter put up a fight? Was he engaged in firing at moment door was breached? Or was it just kill him just in case?

Story so far is that he set up cameras to know when the police were coming and shot himself as they breached the door.

Of course as we learn more details could change.
