found the last morel last Monday and it was a few days old. When the season gets here it's here and when its over its over. Boom its here, boom its gone
As if someone flipped a switch.

This past winter was a dry one here so we didn't have much of a morel season this year. My observation has shown that the season depends on the amount of moisture we get the winter preceding it

Now I live for the next season
