No matter what!! Democrats should stand together on SCOTUS. We will never be respected by

any politicos. Bad, good, or indifferent...it's down to principle now. Either we fight or be rolled over as before.

Seems like momentum is going towards the "nay" votes right now. Fingers crossed.

The argument that we should save the filibuster tactic until after Scalia's old seat is filled is bogus. Every SCOTUS seat and nomination matters. We need to filibuster every single RW hateful candidate that Mean Mitch McConnell puts up.

"We should let evil back onto the Court; it's only fair" is one bad argument!

We should try to eliminate evil from the Court entirely.

Anyone who disagrees with that belongs at FreeRepublic.

that the Republicans through out. They rejected the idea that qualifications rather than ideology were the criteria for approving Supreme Court Judges. According to the Republican Senate, pre-approval by the NRA is the sole qualification.

Now they expect the Democrats to accept anyone Trump nominates. DON'T DO IT! WE GET NOTHING. NOTHING. NOTHING in return except decades of purely right-wing ideological anti-consumer, anti-worker, anti-women, anti-civil rights decisions that will take at least a generation, if we're lucky, to even start to reverse.

Fight this with every procedure and vote. Do not forgive or forget any Democrat that supports surrendering to a stolen Supreme Court seat.
