The next time drumpf calls Warren Pocahontas, she needs to loudly answer him

by calling him SCROTUS. Seems childish? That is what you are dealing with and he gets away with insults because he knows that we will not respond. Respond dammit! Shut him down on what he understands. Feeding an idiot an intellectual argument is a waste of words. Resist and fight back!

Putting out a statement or meme just shows you're bothered by the name-calling. The more you react, the more the bully keeps it up. Besides, everyone knows he's a ninny. He'll likely be more pissed off that his antics are being ignored, and he'll just dig himself in deeper.

was ignored. If it were just Trump, that would be EXACTLY the way to deal with him.

But something like 48% of the electorate is so freaking stupid that they actually DON'T know that he's a ninny.

Believe me, I truly believed ignoring their obvious assholery was the way to go till recently.

But this election has convinced me that the world runs on slogans now, and we need to get with the program. If we are going to get any of that 48%, we have to knock them over the head, ceaselessly, with small words.

They are also oblivious to what is about to happen to their Medicare, Social Security, and a whole bunch of other things if he gets his way. The "Pocohantas" thing is just another shiny object to try to distract us from everything he and his flying monkeys are doing. Let it go, and concentrate on the important stuff, because there's a hell of a lot more of it.

the media with information about SS and Medicare. We absolutely have the popular position there, and we are not saying anything.

I shouldn't be able to turn on the TV without seeing ads that push people to call Republicans and tell them to lay off SS and Medicare.

and the genocidal dislocation of Warren's Cherokee ancestors from the southeastern U.S. to her own native Oklahoma is amplified by his choice to hang a portrait of Andrew Jackson in the Oval Office. I'll call him SCROTUS on other days, for other reasons.

story?

I fault her not at all for that. My mother's family believed for three generations that they were French. I just had my DNA done and there is not a lick of French in there.

On a total other note, I used your Dolt45 name, and attributed it to you. It's genius.

As far as I know, Warren is not an enrolled member of either of the tribes (Cherokee and Delaware) from whom her family tradition tells her she is descended. That is not uncommon, but "absence of proof is not proof of absence." Records from the past are not always conclusive, and once tribal members married into the majority population there was often pressure to assimilate as seamlessly as possible. She believes her family. Trump (and Scott Brown before him) claim that she portrayed herself as Native American to qualify for affirmative action in admission and/or hiring, something she has vehemently denied.

Acting like a petulant child in the manner of Trump is not the answer.

True, responding to the likes of Trump and others on the reprehensible right with facts, reason, and the truth is often pointless, but it’s our only appropriate recourse.

We are way past the time where our party's representatives can just sit around when these sorts of personal insults are spewed. The Democrats at that meeting should have silently arisen and vacated the room. I want their names so I can contact their offices and give them a good ass-chewing. Enough of this shit.
