3. Yes, we can get rid of them by electing Democratic Presidents for the next 16-24 years.

Democratic legislators would be a big help too. It all starts in the 2014 midterms.

5. Register voters.

Drive people to the polls. Donate if you can afford it to politicians you support in tough races. Pick one candidate every election cycle to give some of your time to. Be it phone work, putting up signs or full out campaign volunteer work. Do something to make a difference.

7. Talk to everyone you know. People are lazy. Get them to do the right thing and vote.

Pester them to register. Remind them to register. Help them register.

We have a guy in our office who likes to complain about politicians, but didn't vote. Every time he opens his mouth to complain, we tell him to stop. If you don't vote, you get no voice in the discussion. Now he's registered.
