Where's the outrage over government run street lights?

My tax dollars pay to keep those light lit all night long. Even in neighborhoods I never go and never will. Why should I have to pay for YOUR street lights?

Yeah, I know. They help prevent crime.

Wanna prevent crime?

Buy a gun.

In many urban areas you can see only Venus and the moon. How depressing is that?
