Furthermore, he screwed up and ended up texting photos of his crotch to the world.
Cordova, the 21-year-old who received an allegedly unsolicited photo of an (ahem) erect Weiner in his boxers, withdrew from school and moved from Seattle to New York. The story, she told the Times, has followed her across the country.

(114,904 posts)I don't give a shit if anyone jeers at me for being a prude. It has jackshit to do with prudishness. Aside from that I think it's pertinent that his actions demonstrate that his judgment is exceedingly poor and that he has no impulse control, I think his behavior is a legitimate area for criticism. From a feminist viewpoint, I think his behavior exhibits that he has no respect for women. I also think that doing this crap in his Congressional office shows a frivolous disregard for his office.
And doing the same thing right after he was caught and had to resign? That makes me think the guy has some serious loose screws.

(18,101 posts)I was absolutely amazed that he was running for Mayor and leading in the polls. Sending those unsolicited pics to that young woman should have ended his fifteen minutes.

(10,960 posts)Some civil-libertarian, privacy, sexual freedom, anti-moralism folks are highly principled.
Some are just arrested adolescents.
The Weiner case is really bringing some of the second type out of the woodwork.
Weiner really is the Lindsay Lohan of the Democratic Party. You don't ned to have an intrusive moralistic attitude toward alcohol to think that Ms. Lohan ought not be entrusted with much responsibility.
Weiner is free to do whatever he wants (until he gets arrested, because he will eventually send unsolicited Dick Pix to a twelve year-old unwittingly) but is plainly not the best person for a job of public trust.
That doesn't mean he is the worst person for a responsible job. But "not the worst" isn't the standard.
And the "private life" thing is hilarious. My private life is private precisely because my non-existant publicist hasn't sought out PEOPLE magazine to do a story "Inside cthulu2016's Private Life" to advance my political career. If your diseased marriage isn't news then your healthy marriage isn't news either. Duh.
His behavior cost him his congressional seat and probably his whole political career and the fact that he's still doing it shows he has serious issues. It's obviously a compulsion and not his wife or having a son to think about is enough for him stop. He doesn't need to hold any political office, the only thing he should be thinking about now, is getting himself into a treatment program for some intensive therapy.
dropping out of school and moving cross country because someone sent you a penis pic? That's a bit extreme too.

What's the precise relevance of her actions and her decisions in relation to his actions?

Most folks could get as many of those as they want because they aren't prudes. Not wanting to see someones bits because they get off on flashing you with them without your permission is not prudery, it's called lack of decorum and sexual harrassment.
