France should withdraw its apology to Bolivia (DU'er confirms France did not block airspace)

We now learn that France is apologizing to Bolivia for the whole plane story.

"PARIS--French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius Wednesday evening apologized to Bolivia for closing its airspace to Bolivian President Evo Morales Tuesday evening when many suspected the Bolivian presidential jet might have been carrying National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden." Link

But what the French foreign ministry should have in mind is that DU'er Cali Democrat reported a while ago that the story was "total bullshit;' therefore the apology should be reversed, as France did not block anything.

Kudos to Cali Democrat, and someone please Fax/call/email France about the true facts.

...and actual French statement.

France did not apologize for "closing it's airspace" since they didn't do that.

The French president said they granted permission as soon as they knew it was Morales's plane. They apologized that the confirmation of the granting of permission was delayed and caused an inconvenience.

The exact statement:

"The foreign minister called his Bolivian counterpart to tell him about France's regrets after the incident caused by the late confirmation of permission for President Morales' plane to fly over [French] territory."

But keep pretending like what they actually did was apologize for their hostile and nefarious act of closing their airspace to the Bolivian president so that they could herd him into Austria to be held hostage against his will or something if that fits your preferred narrative better.

clearly a number of countries accidently delayed granting permission to the point that he burned his fuel and had to land to refuel. CLEARLY nothing happened here and we can all move on.

And that whole searching his plane thing? Probably never happened.

I feel better now that we cleared that all up.

This story has been all over the place today. Several news organizations reported France blocked them, only to retract the stories a few hours later after the French denied they had. Now we have come full circle. One can be forgiven for reporting the wrong details (as I did earlier today) when the media themselves don't know what the hell is going on.

BET!

They really have no shame, and sure, politics is a messy arena, but when you can't even keep your argument in the realm of reality, and change your position/story at your convienence, then snark and insult when busted, there is no chance for rational debate.

It is like the MSM, and then there is the false premise of being "fair" and "balanced" to justify their abusive airtime.

It's simply nonsense, though it does provide for repeated, and frequent teachable moments.

One way MSM propagandists operate is to post/print false articles favorable to MIC interests. A large percentage of the readers who saw the first bullshit propaganda article about how France did not close its airspace will never read the second true article confirming that France did indeed close its airspace.

Therefore, they go away believing what Cali Democrat believed, that the French did not close their airspace to Evo.

Fox News uses this propaganda technique all the time.

Once they knew it was his plane, it was allowed into French airspace.
