Very concise and powerful. Kind of a Hitchens grand finale.

(3,132 posts)I'm a huge Hitchens fan, as well as all members of the Four Horsemen.
Just today I read an article about 'pastor' Doug Wilson. He's a self-described Christian nationalist who wants to repeal a woman's right to vote, has defended slavery, and believes homosexuality should be a crime.
His beliefs are extreme, and not long ago they were considered fringe. But today, Wilson's teachings are entering the mainstream. DefSec Hogsbreath maintains close ties with Wilson, attending a church affiliated with his network, and has invited the pastor to deliver a highly controversial sermon at the Pentagon.
