Jeez, it's two in the morning and I should be in bed, but let me finish my Tullamore Dew on the rocks and ask this......

........one question. When I accuse my right wing friends of only listening to Fox news, I am sometimes uncomfortable with the idea that I am no better than they, living in an echo chamber that is DU and the other left wing sites that I peruse.
Can anyone here suggest a right leaning site, be it relatively sane or of the "frothing at the mouth" variety, that might help me out? By this, I mean one that could help me in pointing out to them why their positions are so delusional.

Anti-trump, FORMER Republicans (a lot of them were political operative types), so yes, they bend toward right-leaning with a dose of reality.
Conservative in their case means cautious, small steps toward progress, cause that's how you don't break things that already work.

One of the highlights of my week is Rick Wilson LAUGHING at how low trumps poll numbers can go.
One of the guys this week said of Ken Paxton
'How dumb do you have to be, to NOT have an affair correctly?'

A note of caution--for most of the MAGAs in your life, never-trump will mean the same as supporting Stalin, so not necessarily ice breaker conversations there, but if YOU need maybe a different take, that might work for you.
There are some here who are gonna yell at me now; that's ok lol. I love y'all.

Boann Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey – Madeira Cask

A New Dawn….

Initially, matured in ex-Bourbon Barrels from the famed Brown Forman of Kentucky and made from American Oak 200ltr (Quercus Alba) with a heavy charring. We filled these casks with a mixed mash bill Single Pot Still distillate which included malted barley, unmalted barley, oats and rye. All of these grains are Irish and grown locally.

In collaboration with the famous Madeira house, Justino’s, we sourced some of their finest vintage Madeira casks of Tinta Negro (1998 & 2000), Boal (1999) and Sercial (1999, 2000 & 2006) Madeira Colheita wine single varietals. We were able to access these casks from a friendship that has flourished from a previous special collaboration.

The wines have been fortified and undergone the canteiro process where the wine is barrel aged with naturally high temperatures in the barrel storage room, replicating the sea voyage maritime aging of the past on Portugal galleons of the medieval ages. All casks were formally 350ltr Cognac casks made from (Quercus Robur) French Oak. These Madeira wines ranged from Sweet to Medium to Dry, offering a wide depth and breadth of the terroir of the volcanic island of Madeira.

The label design of this expression talks about water which is a vital ingredient when making whiskey. This is also a nod to the flowing waters of the Boyne River as well as the North Atlantic Ocean surrounding the Madeira Islands.
