Dan Abrams say it is a "godsend" for Democrats if Platner steps down..

He had a young reporter, whose name escapes me, on his YouTube program. Abrams thought if Platner stayed in the race, he would lose to Susan Collins. The young reporter, from Bangor Maine, agreed. He also said that he believed that Platner would step down tomorrow. He mentioned a couple of names, Troy Jackson (sp) being one of them.

Stay tuned.

The voters of Maine are not super fond of Collins. She should step down.

If they are not super fond of her, they sure have a funny way of showing it.

She has received more criticism than in the past, in my opinion.

way to the Broadmoor in Colorado to discuss upcoming Senate races, etc. Suggested donation to attend over $44K each.

It's just a damned shame. We need more candidates like him (obviously without the baggage) - but instead we get the candidates that the wealthy donors want.

I don't know anything about his politics, though maybe one of our informed Mainers can share. Just thought it was interesting.

in Falmouth, to a meet some candidate at McDreamy’s parents house. Can’t remember who the candidate was or what office they were running for. It was around 2013-2014.

14. Beware Dan Abrams!

I’m old enough to remember the sneers and insults he threw at those of us vocally and loudly opposing the Iraq war back in the day. To anyone who paid attention during Vietnam, the cheesy propaganda catapulted was a rerun, endlessly repeated. Dan Abrams was hosting a evening show on MSNBC and his language directed towards us was vile! He tried to stay on the air after the “weapons of mass” destruction fiction collapsed, but vanished into the C-Suites of various cable networks and eventually disappeared from my view. He was simply despised, and no longer a marketable product. IMHO, the man is a lying snake who will do and say anything for a buck. I hope he’s not trying to reinvent himself as an elder reporter!

That said, we sure don’t need another Swallwell! Remember Al Franken? Serious interest and academic backround in American politics and History, drew an accurate map of the states from memory, undone by a joke photo from the ‘70s……I think any male candidate is going to be accused by the GeeOhPee from now on. The only safe candidate is a woman? What a mess!
