(105,248 posts)And he could change while staying on the ballot, theoretically. That would be a mess.
I hope he goes away, this week and stops with his making demands when there is probably a process for determining who gets the spot. I would imagine, though I may be wrong but this makes the most sense, to select the second ranked candidate since this was a ranked choice election. The ranked choice would not require an election rerun since the voters already selected a second choice should the first one become ineligible or drops out before the deadline.
