Any British tourist who travelled to Washington, D.C. to enjoy the celebration has not been paying attention. Martin68 6 hrs ago #7

Remember, Remember the 5th of November..............

There are so many great fireworks in the UK, and the rest of the world - Australia puts on a great show.

Also, the Brit's are known for their pomp and circumstance and putting on a show - remember Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee in 2022 - the country went crazy with celebrations.

The most impressive fireworks show I ever saw was on the Thames on New Years Eve

It’s disingenuous to think that wasn’t a huge fireworks display. It was our 250 year anniversary so something big was befitting even if we don’t like the president.

But it’s silly to try and say that what you just saw didn’t happen. If Japan or anyone else put that on it would have been the greatest show ever.

I can see how that joy could frustrate the unctuous.
