Chris Murphy killed it this morning on MTP

He said that what binds ALL Democrats together now, INCLUDING THE PROGRESSIVES IN NY, is standing up to the threat to our democracy.

"Right now the biggest threat to this country are not a handful of House candidates in New York, it is the president of the United States who is trying to destroy American democracy"

Murphy is an expect at reframing stale questions to highlight what is really important and what needs to be talked about. He always refuses to accept the corporate media's narrative. And he has been doing this since the very beginning of trump's second term when many Ds were cowering.

Other Dems could learn a lot from him IMO.

I misread OP titles on DU a lot myself. Usually my version is really scary and negative like yours was. Don't know what that's all about since it doesn't happen to me elsewhere.

Often the weekends but not always.
As u can c I'm here.
Depends on my mood, or news.
Something incredibly bad, or good(!) I might keep following.

I realized by late April 2024 after he got back in that it was too stressful to be here 7 days a week.
Luckily, too, I can get involved in stuff that keeps me away from thinking about all this

He's one of the few who has described this second Trump term as a 5-alarm fire from almost the beginning.

He was like a breath of fresh air. He spoke the way I would have thought all our Dem leaders would, but so many of them were disappointing back then. He deserves a lot of credit for the change in party attitude.

Flipping the Congress in 2026 and electing a Democrat to the presidency is 2028 is the ONLY thing that matters.

Off the top I think of AOC and Mallory McMorrow (fingers crossed in Michigan). Of course Pete Buttigieg is a thrill to see on fox news.

Of course, at this point it doesn't take much to reframing the fox news-type questions with all the incompetency and corruption. I'd love to hear someone tell the host "I'll bet any member of the Sqaud 2.0 can get a reflecting pool resurfaced without turning it into a biohazard. Next question."
