In this ‘Mehdi Unfiltered’ interview, Mehdi Hasan sits down with Dr. Cindy Harmon-Jones, a senior lecturer at Western Sydney University, who recently published a new study about the cognitive dissonance of Trump supporters and what it would take for them to abandon the MAGA cult.
As Trump supporters continue to blindly support their leader, Harmon-Jones explains how she wanted the MAGA base's continued loyalty despite Trump's sexual abuse allegations as well as other criminal behavior.
