No elderly attention-whore on hand strictly to hog the camera. To dominate. To make damn sure HE was who/what everyone else was looking at, when the bride and groom should rightfully have been the centers of attention.

I swear. Sometimes I feel almost compelled to want to study this S.O.B. to get SOME sort of understanding of what to do with him and how to handle him. And at the same time, I’m growing increasingly fascinated with the effect that the passage of time is starting to have on him.

He’s visibly having some difficulties. Just a few, but there are behavior patterns starting to manifest. Little by little. Sometimes VERY little. But he’s getting older, not younger. He’s getting weaker, not stronger. Again, sometimes hardly noticeable. But it’s there. And while I’m no expert on these things, even I can’t help but notice little changes in behavior and posture and speech. And as time goes on, it will become more noticeable. Heck, people are already talking, and it’s still pretty early in this game.
