What seems to fly right over the media's collective heads is that Drumpf is going to collect millions for himself and his family out of that fund. I'd guess at least $500M. Which is why they made is so they never have to disclose the payouts.

Everyone is focued on the J6ers...and sure, he is paying them off, too, so that his thugs will riot for him again as needed, but there is no way he is going to sit there and let all $1.8B slip through his stubby fingers.

were going to "settle" with him. A legitimate DOJ would have looked forward to taking the case to court as there was no case there. In normal times, Trump would have been held liable to pay the DOJ for their legal epenses because the case was totally frivolous.
