I think I heard reference to Bruce doing this song a couple of weeks ago but I couldn't find any confirmation. Perfect song for today. Also, a few days ago the hubby and I heard the Temptations' version for the first time. Different feel but just as powerful.

That version was released on the Live 1975-1985 box set and also released as a single in 1986. He played the song regularly during the Tunnel of Love Tour and the Human Rights Now tour in 1988 but had performed it only 7 times since 1988 until this tour.

Plus parking at the Forum is like $50 minimum and sometimes you wind up parking across the street.

Feeding the crews, lodging, etc. I thought tickets were steep when I saw him in the 80’s but I went to 3 of his concerts and remember them well. I wish he’d be closer to where I am for this one

to be the concert promoter who brought him in and stand backstage, watching the act. Bruce can seemingly fly through the air. Well, maybe not now but back then (early to late mid-seventies). I brought him into a venue that only had room for 3500 people. Looking at that stage now and thinking back then....

He didn't mince any words in telling what he thought of trump, did he?

I saw him twice 40 years ago, 1986, in Toronto and Los Angeles. Such very different times. But his light shines even more brightly today. Thank you Bruce and the E Street Band.
