the orange asshole pedo basically handed very powerful keys to Iran. Keys Iran didn't have before. the keys to the strait. And now Iran will use that strait as a cudgel against any and all nations that bother them or things they don't like or "feel" they don't like or think they don't like.

3. Mr. trump got pantsed

and now fired the generals who warned him about skipping the belt. His tantrums will increase, his noise will increase, and motivation for kicking his ass in the mid-terms will increase as his flaws become more consequential.

4. This will go badly for everyone on many levels.

It will eventually have to be opened for all. For real opened, not "We promise not to shoot you if you pay us." opened.

The empathy and conscientiousness about Iran's terrible losses in the war will eventually end up being directly proportional to the mail arriving on time. That, and the perception that Iran is unable to keep it from arriving on time for the foreseeable future. That's key, too.

The world is not that magnanimous or altruistic where the rubber meets the road. This is not sustainable, even a little bit, like Iran wants it now.

God help us all if a tanker sinks, or catches fire, intentionally or by a frickin' act of nature.
