It ain't about Trump...
..it's about the country. Yeah, sure. 
I been away for a while. No particular reason other than not having anything to add to what is already known. I quit watching non-stop MSNOW; not due to any gripes with MSNOW, just that it's the same reported issues all day long. Trump said this or Trump did that... something stupid.
I suppose my non-stop watching was wishful anticipation that someone would have finally decided enough was enough and started some action to stop Trump. But alas, it never happened and quite frankly, I'm not expecting it to happen until the Dems regain majorities in Congress.
But back to the thread title. It was part of a comment made on a trades forum by one of the MAGA crowd types. Here's the entire paragraph:
"It is not about Trump, it is about country, the direction it is heading and having a better future for our kids and grandchildren.
A land full of criminals, corruption, drug/ alcohol addiction, sexual malpractice in all its various forms, unequal trade imbalances, rogue nations, etc, etc, etc is not a good place to raise youngsters. We either start to turn the ship now or it will crash on the rocks, sinking, never to be seen again."
I don't know how much of that the guy actually believes or if he believes our country is the only country around the globe with "criminals, corruption, drug/ alcohol addiction, sexual malpractice in all its various forms, unequal trade imbalances..." but it identifies the underlying motives of MAGA mentality and enforces the fact that it really isn't about Trump. But it's not about the country either...it's about some of the people in the country.
