is Burt Lancaster. The movie is a fictionalized version of the Judges' Trial, which was one of the twelve Nuremberg Military Tribunals, but the words spoken in the movie ring true today in many ways, imo.

The script is excellent, too, for bringing out so many sides and issues so that the film's message comes through without being trite or simplistic.

Yes, it is timeless abd applies today.

Some of the films he made with director John Frankenheimer are some of my favorites.

I think that Maximillian Schell was new at the time, at least to American audiences.
